Membership to the Club is open to anyone of either sex, irrespective of their age. Applicants with disability are also welcome. The Chief Coach will assess all prospective new members.

To become a member of the Club you pay an annual membership fee if you are in one of our competition squads. If you are in our lesson programme, you pay a joining fee.

In addition there are also training fees that are collected monthly by standing order. All fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.

The annual fee or joining fee covers the cost of administration, ASA registration and insurance. The training fees go towards the cost of the pool hire and Coaches' or Teachers' salaries.

A family reduction will apply when there are three or more members of a family in competitive squads in the club.

Any swimmers currently enrolled in a Slough Leisure swimming class are entitled to squad fees at 50% off (squad/link swimmers only).

Swimmers will be registered with the Berkshire and South Bucks ASA annually by the club. The ASA fee is determined by the ASA Executive Committee.

Further information is available at the club desk or from the Membership Secretary.
A membership form can be downloaded from the link at the right of the page.

Competition Fees

For Open Meets there is a fee to pay for each race in which the swimmer is entered which is payable to the club hosting the meet. In addition there is an administration fee per swimmer payable to Slough & Eton Dolphin Swimming Club.

If the swimmers are selected to represent the club in League competitions, there is no fee to pay.

Occasionally the team may travel by coach and in this case, the swimmers and accompanying parents may be asked to contribute towards the coach hire.

Extra Training

The coach may decide to add extra training for swimmers in preparation for a big competition, usually at no cost but sometimes there may be a small charge to cover pool hire.

Swimming Gear

When attending a competition, it is expected that the swimmers wear Club costume, Club T-shirt and hat, which are available from the Club Shop. Further information can be found on the Club Shop web page. For all training sessions swimmers should bring poolside shoes, towels and goggles.
